Our Story

How it all started...

Rock Point Church was birthed out of a season of hardship, trial and perseverance.  Senior Pastor and founder Timothy Stuen's motto is "Your mess will become a message" and there is no testimony without a test."

The beginnings of Rock Point Church could be described as the bright light after coming out of a stretch of dark tunnel.

Through it all compassion was implanted and imparted, God's faithfulness was revealed, the messages each Sunday - God inspired reaching people on every level in every season of life.

After just a little over 3 years, Rock Point Church reaches over 700 people in house any given Sunday and broadcasts online globally.

Pastor Timothy and his wife Jamie feel it's imperative that every person that walks through the front door to tangibly feel and know the Love of the Father whether its through Rock Point's friendly greeters and congregants to the Holy Spirit doing what only the Holy Sprit can do!  They both have said "we want people to feel at home and that they belong".

Expanding the vision...

Rock Point Church wants to become a place where the people are so established in the Word of God that the Gospel is preached through their everyday lives.

What we are all about...

Our church is not called simply to count decisions for Christ, but to make disciples who truly follow Him. A decision is a moment, but discipleship is a lifelong journey of transformation- learning to walk with Jesus daily, obey His Word, grow in character, and love others well.

Jesus didn’t say, “Go and collect converts,” but “Go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19), inviting people not just to believe in Him, but to become like Him. When we focus only on decisions, faith can remain shallow; but when we invest in discipleship, roots grow deep, lives change, and generations are impacted. Our mission is to walk alongside people, teaching, mentoring, and modeling Christ so that faith becomes not just a prayer prayed once, but a life lived fully for Him.
